syn 'Karasuba'. A Japanese cultivar with small white flowers in Spring and the handsome palmate foliage that develops stunning crimson flares and streaks into the Autumn. Deciduous.

As with many Chinese/Japanese plants some Summer moisture is needed, so if in the eastern part of the UK it is better grown on say the north side of a wall. In the western half, under a high tree canopy is ideal.
