Aster schreberi

  • Pot size: 1 Litre
  • Plant ultimate height: 60cm (24in)
  • Growing condition: Partial - full shade
  • Flowering season: August to October

A bigger plant in all it's parts than divaricatus, it is strong growing with comparatively large white (with pink tones) flowers in August and September.
Easy in semi or full shade even in very dry soils, it won't appreciate conifer dry but very little does.

Grows better on alkaline to neutral soils. Happy in damp shade but also in dry shade once established. This fern works brilliantly with other ferns, hostas and bergenias.
